The vocabulary
Six words to know, and you know it all
- Competition
- The brand. “Vwa Lakay” exists once, and comes back every year.
- Edition
- A season. “Vwa Lakay 2026”, with its dates, its rules and its money.
- Phase
- A round. Auditions, quarter-finals, semi-final, final.
- Step
- What is submitted to a phase: a video, a text, a filmed performance.
- Work
- What an entrant hands in. It is reviewed, then published, or sent back with a word.
- Record
- The sealed ranking of a phase. Once published, it does not move.
